Description

Lustleigh Society will be hosting an illustrated talk at Lustleigh Village Hall to look at the community archaeology excavation that took place earlier in the year.

In April volunteers worked under the guidance of professional archaeologists to excavate the ruins of an abandoned post-medieval farmstead located in the beautiful Bovey Valley and set amongst ancient woodland alongside the Becka Brook.

Come along to hear about the dig from Marc Steinmetzer, of Oakford Archaeology, who led the excavation.

This talk is FREE. Refreshments available from 7pm
