Discover Dartmoor's wonderful haymeadows on this family friendly day for everyone down on the farm, in a beautiful location above Dartmeet. There will be a chance to meet local wildlife organisations, take part in crafty activities, listen to floral tales with our storyteller and enjoy some music whilst having a cream tea or pastie.

There is a whole load of fairy themed fun throughout the day-Make a magical peg-doll flower fairy, go fairy spotting  and discover the magic of meadows

We have also teamed up with Naturemakes to offer fantastic workshops throughout the day to create your own mini fairy homes. The workshop is £4 per person including all materials. This event is FREE. There will be a charge for some of the craft activities to cover materials

Please note the Dartmoor Classic Cycle Ride across Dartmoor is also taking place on Sunday. This should have only limited impact on those attending the event. Coming up the Dart Valley from Ashburton there is a short length on the approach down to Holne Bridge then going up the hill and turning off for Holne where you will share the road with riders. There are no road closures in this area but event attendees should factor in a little extra time to travel safely. From the Holne turning to Brimpts Farm is not on the cycle route so should be accessible as normal. Details of the exact routes can be found here www.dartmoorclassic.co.uk
