A childhood spent walking, camping and playing on Dartmoor, followed by an exciting time as a Trek Leader at Sherberton Farm when it was a Pony Trekking Centre instilled a passion and love for the moor that changed the path of my life. After a few years living and working in France, the pull to return to Dartmoor was ultimately too strong to resist, and now I find myself just where I want to be, living, and working on the moor, with no wish to ever do anything different. As co-owner of Visit Dartmoor (Tourism Delivery Partner to DNPA) and Active Dartmoor magazine, being part of the MTMTE Landscape Partnership Board gives me an opportunity to support and promote the great projects they run, and gives me a wonderful insight into many of the activities going on across Dartmoor.
